During a recent appearance on Truth Jihad Radio, Niels Harrit, the Danish chemistry professor whose paper on high-tech explosives in the World Trade Center dust seals the case for controlled demolition, discussed the reaction his work has elicited. 

"People smile at me as they walk past," he said, adding that his emails have been unanimously congratulatory. Unfortunately, he said, younger professors who bring up 9/11 truth in faculty conversations do not always get such a friendly reaction. 

A Washington, D.C. insider of my acquaintance tells me that when he drops 9/11 truth into discussions with fellow insiders, countenances darken and conversations freeze up. Oddly enough, the same thing often happens when 9/11 is questioned in conversations among peace and justice activists. 

What is it about 9/11 truth that is so profoundly polarizing? 

Ken Jenkins, in his recent article "The Truth Is Not Enough: Overcoming Emotional Barriers to 9/11 Truth" offers a long list of reasons for the common adverse reactions, including the scale of the lie, the need for a major paradigm shift, blind nationalist faith, admission of gullibility, PTSD, and several others. Ken is right, but he does not go far enough. A deeper reason is that the truth of 9/11 illustrates, better than any other iconic image, the catastrophic spiritual bankruptcy of our civilization.  

In non-spiritually-bankrupt cultures, people have a sense of the difference between right and wrong, and mostly try to do what's right. The fact that people from this civilization's ruling elite planned and executed the 9/11 false-flag attacks and subsequent criminal wars, while their co-civilizationalists have been unwilling or unable to bring them to justice, shows that this culture's line between right and wrong has not just been transgressed, it has been permanently obliterated. 

Shaykh Abdullah Noorudeen Durkee writes: "In China they say that a ruler can only rule as long as he has the Mandate of Heaven. For a long time America was seen in the larger world as having that Heavenly Mandate, but due to the actions of the past years that Mandate has been withdrawn; that mandate has been lifted, and the shining city on a hill has turned out to be just another Potemkin village." (Shaykh Abdullah Noorudeen Durkee, "A few brief reflections of a post-modern Muslim living in early 21^st century America," Green Mountain School, Virginia, 2008). 

By falsely blaming Muslims and Islam for 9/11, the perpetrators were, by extension, launching a blasphemous assault on God. The most profound name/attribute of God is al-haqq, the Truth. 9/11, a spectacular demolition of truth, was also meant to be a demolition of God.  

The worldwide war on Islam launched by 9/11 is in reality a war on God. Islam is the last and best-preserved message of God. Those who are out to abolish God do not really have to worry about the other great religions. They will fall of their own accord, indeed are already fallen or falling. Islam is the last religion standing. Once it goes, God, goes...or so believed the architects of 9/11. 

Whence this war on God? During the past five centuries Western civilization has moved from vibrant religiosity to increasing scepticism and rationalism and finally, now, to sheer satanic nihilism. The founders of the latest phase of our civilization were deists, worshippers (if that is the right word) of deus absconditus, the divine watchmaker who wound up the works of the world and took a hike, leaving creation to take care of itself. Shaykh Durkee: "Europe and America are undermined everywhere by the false doctrine of the illuminati, Masonic theists with their myth of the 'Deus Abscondicus' who has abandoned the Creation which must now rely upon the 'enlightened' ones to redeem it through the pseudo-principles of 'Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité.'" This is the deeper meaning of the phrase "New World Order." What is new about this order is that it is intended to be a better, human-instituted order to replace the old civilizational order whose pillar was God. 

9/11 appears to have been a coup d'état within Freemasonry as well as within the United States government. (Google around to find discussions of apparent Masonic symbolism in the 9/11 attacks, including towers, pentagons/pentagrams, and recurrences of the number 11.) 

Before 9/11, Freemasonry may have been a self-appointed substitute for the God who had gone missing, but at least it gave lip service to divinely-inspired principles of justice and mercy. The pre-911 Masonic elite saw themselves as rationalists trying to achieve the greatest good for the greatest number. 

On 9/11, the founding Illuminati deists who set themselves up to rule as a good God would rule in place of the absconded Creator were overthrown by a nihilistic, satanic, godless postmodernist Nietzschean-neocon contingent lusting for absolute power in service to absolute corruption. 

As spiritually-sensitive commentators ranging from Protestant Whiteheadian theologian David Ray Griffin to Rudolph Steiner mystic T.H. Meyer have told us in their different ways, 9/11 truth forces us to confront a truly monstrous evil at the heart of Western civilization. 

In Qur'anic terms, 9/11 is a furqan clearly dividing good from evil.  

The Qur'an in fact refers to itself as al-furqan, the dividing line or criterion that distinguishes good from evil. 

Secularist thinker Ernst Gellner tells us that there are only three serious philosophical alternatives available today: postmodernism, scientific rationalism, and Islam...and postmodernism isn't really a serious alternative. On 9/11, postmodern decadence struck down scientific rationalism. (If you think scientific rationalism still exists in the West, take a look at the empirical evidence proving the WTC was demolished, then consider how the larger culture has reacted to this irrefutable scientific evidence.) A synthesis of Islam and scientific rationalism, with Islam providing the orientation and rationalism the tools of worldly inquiry, will arise from the smoking nanothermite-laden ruins of the World Trade Center to become the dominant worldview of the future. 

Those who have understood the truth of 9/11 -- that it was a false-flag attack designed to slander Muslims and Islam, and launch a war on Islam -- are invited to ponder the following question: Why would the forces of ultimate evil choose to attack Islam so obscenely? What is it about Islam that evil finds so intolerable?  

It's furqan time, people. The overflowing divine mercy and compassion are all around you, if you have eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart that can harbor knowledge as well as pump blood.
